MIMAI PROJECTS
MIMAI Projects brings together the individual and joint practices of Silvia Y. Tam and Shingo Shimada, alongside collaborations with artists, researchers and cultural institutions.
Developed across transnational contexts, the projects take the form of artistic research, exhibitions, moving image, publications and archives. They explore spaces of the in-between—between cultures, histories, memories and forms of knowledge—creating an ongoing dialogue between artistic practice and scholarly inquiry.
